Friendly Fill-ins Week 46

Good Morning! It is Friday and it is Friendly Fill-in time. You can join Friendly Fill-ins at McGuffy’s Reader and 15andmeowing. Head over to McGuffy’s Reader to link in and see other Fill-ins. Just click on the badge above. Oh, and if you want to do the Fill-ins in the comment section right here that would be more than okay with me.

  1. In the Spring, I look forward to our coneflowers popping up with their happy flower faces.
  2. I would love to have a blogging friends party… even though I would be a nervous wreck meeting everyBODY.
  3. Few know this about me, but I can be very shy and I am a bit quirky.
  4. No one bakes a loaf of cinnamon bread like The Mama… CH’s Mom. You didn’t think I would get through this post without mentioning FOOD? And buttah… for the top of the cinnamon bread… for every bite.

    1. Good Morning, Jill! I don’t think I would have ever thought of you as shy but then yes I can see that you could be. Yes it would be fun to meet and prop up our feet and chat… so many things to talk about and questions to ask and answer!

  1. YAY – you’re filling in today again and I love your answers. A blog buddies par-tay would be amazing but those kind of things are always tough to pull together – thank heavens for email (!!) so all of us can be as “together” as schedules allow. Shy and a bit quirky? Isn’t that NORMAL? I hope so because I am the same….and I like to at least PRETEND I’m normal!!!! HA The Mama makes cinnamon bread and this past week I made cinnamon/raisin biscotti – does that count? Have a fabulous Friday dear friend. Trust me – we love you JUST THE WAY YOU ARE!

    Hugs, Pam

    1. Good Morning, Vicki! The cinnamon bread is the best! Give Annie and Pierrot a scritch for me… 🙂 Izzy is in her new home… her permanent home. That picture was from 4 years ago. She was with us for a couple of months. We don’t see her but I know that she is happy with her adopter.

  6. I want to see if we can grow coneflowers here! They’re so cool!!

A blogging friends party would be awesome! And like you, I tend to be on the shy side (and quirky, too!), so at least you wouldn’t be alone. 😉

Ooooh! Cinnamon loaf would be heavenly! Now I need to bake one this weekend – and top it with butter, of course! 🙂 Have a great weekend!

    1. Thanks for the good words about the flower picture, David… I took it about three years ago when picture taking was something I enjoyed. Lost my picture taking motivation, hoping it comes back. You have gorgeous wildflowers… love the Bluebonnets and Indian paintbrush!

    1. Coneflowers are beautiful! They didn’t do well last summer but it looks like we are going to have a riot of them this year… I can’t wait 🙂 I am an introvert as well as shy. Have you ever visited introvertdear dot com? I like Introvert, Dear better on Facebook but the dot com is good too.

  7. I am an introvert and can seem shy but I’m not. I am quirky, though. I would like to meet some blogging friends…that would be an interesting party. If I liked parties I would go to it.

    1. I think I might find that overwhelming but it does sound interesting. I have seen postings of blogging conference events and they always look like fun! Can’t go wrong with pet bloggers… 🙂 Thank you for the suggestion!
