Happiness!

I was nominated by Clowie to participate in the “Eight Photos of Happiness” blog tag… Thank you Clowie. You can click on the first photo or any photo to make the gallery photo bigger.. all the better to see my happiness! These photos are HAPPY for me. I could have done tons more photos of things and people that make me happy but I had to keep it to eight.

Here are the rules for the tag/challenge…
Thank the nominator and link back to them. Done.
Link to the creator, Ariel.
Post eight photos of happiness. The photos can be anything that represents a moment, object, place or feeling that makes you happy and a brief description why you selected it.
Spread the “happiness” by nominating up to 10 other bloggers. I am choosing to nominate any of my friends that would like to show their HAPPINESS!

*I took the day off from visiting blogs yesterday because CH and I had a busy day and today is busy too! I promise to get to your blogs later today…. Promise!

    1. Our neighbors occasionally see CH get the mail in his “ole PJ”… πŸ˜€ I do love that view every morning, more than you know. And we have been thinking seriously of selling the Tiny Ten and moving back to St. Louis, Missouri. Tough decision! Thanks for the vist, Easy!

  1. They’re all lovely photos. I hope you had fun choosing them – they made me smile.

I particularly like The Visitor – you’re lucky to get such a visitor. And Country Cat has the most gorgeous eyes!

    1. It was nice to get a post up. It was just a fly by the seat of my pants post, I think I overthink posting too much and then it becomes work and not HAPPY! Z Cat… she was a very sweet cat. I miss her. Thanks for the visit, Isobel!

  2. Pix, it makes me VERY happy to see these photos! A very eclectic mix! I love your home and the locale ….. and the food!!! lol Can I ask, is the kitty Z Cat? Such a beauty ❀️ I might do the 8 photos on behalf of Austin, but have embarked on a complicated video project for the blog on iMovie, which has been updated beyond all comprehension, so am having to learn it again! trial and error – mostly error lol xxx

  3. Not only those people, animals, landscape and house pictured by you make you happy but I have perceived they have something in common: they generate a feeling of peace .

    1. Good Morning, Barb! I am glad you felt some HAPPY with the photos. The owl is still here, we hear it most mornings. It still likes that gate for observation of FOOD. I try not to think about what it is eating. It is cozy here but we are thinking about moving back to St. Louis, Missouri (home for us) but it is a hard decision and I have doubts I would survive another move… πŸ˜€ Thank you for the visit!

  7. I’d never get anything done with a porch and view like that! Nice capture of your visitor. I hope it just dropped by to say ‘hi.’ I’ve missed Suds Bunny! I’d have been quite concerned if there hadn’t been a cheeseburger in the mix. Handsome CH you have there, Pix!

    1. I spend way too much time on The Porch getting absolutely nothing done! The Visitor likes the Tiny Ten and has been calling it home for a few years. We hear it regularly but don’t see it often. It was about time Suds had some blog time! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. CH… I am going to keep him if he will continue to put up with me… πŸ˜€

  8. Ahhh, I feel the ‘happy’ just staring at your photos. They are lovely! They inspire me to pick up my camera (and even more likely, my pen) and find ‘happy’ in my pictures and words.

    1. Good Morning! Yep, I took that shot of the owl. I wasn’t that close, I used a 300mm lens shot from The Porch. And then I cropped and sharpened it. It lives here on the Tiny Ten… it is a Barred Owl. I would love to see a drawing you do of an owl… maybe a painting? Thanks so much for your visit! Oh, I try real hard to not think about what that owl is eating. No baby anythings that we love I am hoping.

    1. Happy New Year to you too, Nandini! I think my blogging days are over. Never say never I suppose but I just don’t have the interest anymore to get a blog up. I have been blogging since 2001 on various blogging platforms and I just feel blogged out… πŸ™‚ I still like to comment though! I do enjoy Instagram.

blogging since 2001 – that is amazing. congratulations! you are certainly allowed to retire from blogging, for sure. just wanted to say thanks for all the smiles and beautiful moments that you have shared over the years.

      1. hey Pix, thanks for getting back to me. i am actually officially on a blogging hiatus but happened to notice that you had replied.

currently no blogging for me – only Timmy’s monthly guest posts are continuing as usual. i am on vacation for a few weeks, and recently came back from a 1500 mile round trip adventure through the Canadian Rockies and the Kootenays with a couple of friends. haven’t been on a road trip for quite a while, so it definitely was time! it seems I have seen more of Europe than of my own ‘back yard’, and it really was enjoyable. for the most part the weather was lovely, so our views were often just amazing. lots and lots of clicks, too but no time to sort through them just yet. one day…

in the meantime i am in the middle of a huge project that i am unable to say anything about just yet – however there will be more about that on the First Tuesday of July, when Timmy shares another one of his guest posts.

anyhow, happy summer – cool and grey here today but no complaints. the sun will come soon enough πŸ˜€ have a great day and take care! Timmy sends purrs too. xx

    1. Marsha, thank you so much for your visit and kind words about my Happiness pictures. Another thank you for the header. I love that barn and look forward to seeing it on our trips to Sedalia, MissouREE. The barn is looking a little rough since I clicked that picture, I hope they give it some love! I enjoyed my visit to your blog and I am going to return to look around some more. Jill is a sweatheart… nice way for you to have found me. I have lost the motivation to pick up my picture taker and to blog but I still love to read and comment on the blogs I follow.

      1. For you, it seems that the reading is the most important aspect of blogging. I was getting in a rut in that department too, then I started keeping track of blog posts on a journal and reading more purposefully. Now I look for new bloggers in all sorts of places, and I feel energized. It got me out of my blogging doldrums and helped me blog again. http://wp.me/p7tP3I-ce πŸ™‚
