Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should be Reading.

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

Be careful not to include spoilers! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

Share the title and author too so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teaser!

Here is my teaser for this week:

She also knew the minute she awoke that the mystery of Quincy Tidewater was unraveling. She had a pretty good idea as to why he had met his end.

  3. This is a teaser that makes me want to run out and look for the book! Pix, did you get to go to Clark? I’d like to go back and get some more of those fried pies. LOL! But, it just so stinkin’ hot. We had a little shower here yesterday, but it didn’t last very long. I guess a little bit is better than nothing but, man, did it ever turn off humid afterward!

    1. We haven’t made it to Clark. I want to go in Fall. Pray, cross your fingers and toes, do a rain dance~we need rain. Our trees are showing stress and we are losing shrubs and flowers! I don’t want to lose more Oaks, Dogwoods and Redbuds.

    1. I know!!! It’s always sad when great company leaves. The house is just kind of empty. No worries about being late, I was doing some catching up too. Glad you had a very nice time. And yes, it is a very good book!! Enjoy your evening!

I also wanted to thank you for your birthday wishes for my purrthday, on Texas’ blog. I know I am terribly terribly late, and I apologize and so I send you plenty of purrs!
