TBM at 50 Year Project blog got me excited over this meme. I love books and I think this is a cool way to find new books to read. Thanks to TBM!
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should be Reading.
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
Be careful not to include spoilers! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title and author too so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teaser!
Here is my teaser for this week:
The figure was motionless, flopped over the seat, yet the cries still rang out. Tom rushed to the dinghy, and tried to rouse the man before searching the space in the bow from where the sound came.
Page 17 on my eReader(sorry I will have a real book next time), Light Between Oceans by M. L. Stedman
I just had this book recommended to me by another friend and I have it on my Kindle so guess what is next up on the list !!!! 🙂 I am pulled in!

Every once in a while I find my regular visitors in spam. Drives me batty. Thanks for pulling me out of the naughty file. I’ll try to behave from now on, but not sure what I did wrong in the first place 🙂

Hi Pix, looks like this will be a fun meme! I just wanted to pop by and answer your question on my post in case you didn’t see it. Hope you don’t mind my answering it here!
The Amish community is in or by Clark north of COMO just off 63. Turn right off 63 and onto 22 then left on Y and you’re almost there. There is a map of the community and it lists the homes that have goods for sale. The address is over in my comment. Sorry, I should have copied it before I started typing here! I gotta tell you, some of the homes have the yummiest fried pies but you can only get them on Friday or Saturday they tell me. We were lucky to find a few left that Friday afternoon. Not that we need them, but they are soooo good. It’s always an interesting trip.

This does sound like a fun challenge. It takes me so long to get through a book, I wouldn’t be allowed to come and play! LOL
