Yowza!! I Missed You All!

Photobucket
I no longer have my squinty faced sandy self planted on the beach in Venice, Florida but I am currently planted on the couch with my computer to say that we made our way home today and I have missed all of you! Two weeks gone for goodness sakes. But we had a very good time. I have missed reading blogs, commenting and just general blog blabbing. So I am going to attempt to catch up with blogs and get around and say “Hello”.

    1. Hey YOU! Looking all cute and summer like in your sandals and showing off your good legs. Missed you too but hope you had a great time on your trip. Looking forward to hearing stories and seeing pictures from the trip.

      1. Christina I will love ya forever! “Good Legs”! Man you should see me standing up. Chicken legs and the skin on my knees is drooping down to my shins. I don’t want to even talk about the chicken neck. The big six Ohhhhhhhhhhhh was rough in September! I do love and live in those sandals though. I didn’t take many pictures, we just played too much! And ate all bad stuff, you know, vacation food!

  1. Glad you’re back! Florida was wonderful weather – I got back from my mom’s a week before you did, but I didn’t get to see any beaches – I am envious! I missed you…have fun catching up! And I love the photo of you! What a cute face!

    1. Oh Linda! We all lucked out on our vacation weather! Sorry you missed the beaches but any day in Florida is better than a day anywhere else in my opinion! I have been having fun catching up but holy smokes there was some posting going on! I am just going to start fresh today for commenting and take my time over the next few days reading. It’s going to be COLD here!

  2. Love your photo. You are adorable – so cute. I’m glad to hear from you on my blog. I lost your blog address while shuffling some stuff on my blogroll. It’s good to get it back. Florida, huh? I am so jealous of your escape to the beach. I am in need of some ocean air and sandy shores. Glad to hear you had a good time.

    1. Good Morning Rae! My blog address is easy to lose because my address is different from my blog name and I am a dot com not a wordpress.com. It’s all kind of befuddling especially when I try to comment on other blogs if they don’t have the Name/URL option. Yep, Venice, Florida. I think we left our hearts there this time and we have been going since 1995. I am happy to be connected to the intersweb again πŸ™‚

  3. Welcome home! It seems longer than 2 weeks that you were gone. So glad to see you back – and just in time for the colder temps here in good ol MO!

Can’t wait to hear about your adventures and your blog friend meet.

Now that you mention it, we had that same PIA issue with the Police Fund a time back. This one with the Cancer Institute has been so bad that it drove the other one out of my mind! No calls yet today, but then the day is still early.

    1. Hi back Tex!! From one short haired gal to another πŸ™‚ Old maybe. I was planted there cause I couldn’t get up. Seriously, CH was laughing at me while he took that picture. My jean shorts were trying to do the old plumber butt thing and CH did finally offer a hand up but I ignored him πŸ™‚

  4. Good Morning Nancy! We had such a nice time with you two. We are going to work on the “hurry back” part πŸ™‚ Don’t worry about us back here in cold old MissouREE when it’s 10 degrees Saturday night. Don’t even give it a thought.

  5. You made me laugh! You and CH had better stoke the furnace and batten down the hatches!

    I’m feeling “cold” this morning . . . and it’s 63 degrees. I can’t even imagine 10 degrees at this point.

    1. A flurry of snow this afternoon! I think a Friday wine time is on schedule on the four seasons porch this afternoon at four and looking at Florida pictures! Don’t give it a thought that the bird bath water is a block of ice and the pond has a thin sheet of ice.

    1. Yep Julie, we been in Florida πŸ™‚ Didn’t want to come home to MissouREE. One of these years, soon maybe, we won’t πŸ™‚ I am glad you have some fine weather for snowshoeing. We have a flurry of snow coming today but I don’t think we will need snowshoes!

  8. Very cute pic Pix! I hate the old plumber butt thing… and all these low-rise jeans that they sell now don’t help any. So glad that you and CH had a good time!

    1. Thank you Theresa! What is with the jeans anyhoo? I didn’t think they were that low when I bought them and then I cut them off for shorts and all they want to do is go south πŸ™‚ Not to Florida south, all though that is a good idea.

  9. Welcome back Pix. I was beginning to fear that you had left wp and set up a blog-home else where. I missed you. I’m thankful that you were out having a grand time on vacation. Cool! πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks Tammy! Yeah the sandy beach was great except I couldn’t get my butt up and off the sandy beach and I was starting to get a case of plumber’s butt with those jeans I cut off. I was trying to hike em up. CH finally had to give me a hand up πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks Evis. I lost your other comment. It just went ‘poof’ after I clicked on it in my inbox. Thanks for the visit πŸ™‚ I would like to ask you about printing my barn shots on some good stock paper and how and where. The Mama would like them for note cards πŸ™‚ I have googled but I knew you would know the bestest way. Dang they are expensive. I don’t want to pay five bucks a card or more. I want a box of 16 or 18 cards for 5 or 6 bucks that she can use as note cards to her friends πŸ™‚ You must have done a post……
