I am linking up with Sunday Stills Signs of September/Fall and Nancy’s Your Sunday Best this last day of September. I hear Earth Wind and Fire’s September tune dancing in my mind. Twinkling my memories. I might have taken a few liberties with the lyrics. Maybe.. :)

    • It is a hard country life but someBODIES gots to live it! Oh nooooooooooo to your chiminea being ravaged by a storm.. I think I might just cry if our chiminea had an accident.. Those dang deer better leave it alone!

  7. Great post Pix and now, thanks to you, I will be singing September all day! One of my all time faves so that’s okay! Do you remember… Margie

    September 30, 2012 at 9:36 am

    • I will be singing it too Margie! And that’s ok too cause we’ll be doing something together today even though we are far away. I be thinking of you!

      September 30, 2012 at 10:16 am

  8. LOVE THIS.

    September 30, 2012 at 9:37 am

  9. Loving it, just as I’m loving our beautiful days and changing colors. I truly didn’t think we would see much Fall color this year, but it appears I am, thankfully, once again wrong.

    September 30, 2012 at 10:19 am

    • I am thinking it is going to be very colorful Fall but for all the wrong reasons. Heat this summer, the drought, still no significant rain. If we don’t get a decent soaking rain soon I am going to have a melt down. But I enjoyed every day of September and I am going to enjoy every day of October! Thanks for the visit Deanna! Enjoy this Fall-ish Sunday!

Love those photos – can’t wait to visit and see it for myself! Hopefully next April…we are scheduled to be in Ridgedale for 5 days…

    September 30, 2012 at 5:30 pm

    • We have to wait until next April? Can’t you two make it sooner? Fall is beautiful. Winter not so much as you know, Spring could be good but I don’t want to even think about Summer. Any old time you can make it we will be tickled to see you!

      September 30, 2012 at 7:04 pm

  19. It certainly looks like Fall at the tiny ten! Mr. CH looks pretty comfy around the chiminea. Hope you both are enjoying the day…greetings from wet rainy Maine, Julie.

    September 30, 2012 at 6:41 pm

    • Julie we will gladly take your rain! Mr. CH has been enjoying his Octoberfest Samuel Adams around my birthday chiminea…. :)

      September 30, 2012 at 7:06 pm

  24. Lovely signs of fall. That chimney thing sure looks cozy.

    September 30, 2012 at 10:52 pm

  25. Wow, I can’t believe this is the last day…heck, the last hour…of September! It was a beaUtiful day today and we took a little drive in our area for some barn shooting. My stash of barn photos was running low. I was pleasantly surprised to see all the fall colors that have popped out lately.

Love that first photo. Simply beautiful! CH is looking comfy and relaxed.

    September 30, 2012 at 11:01 pm

    • It has been beautiful weather but we need RAIN! I am looking forward to October. I have fallen off the Barn Charm wagon. I have a hard time getting up Wordless Wednesday with Linda and Sunday Stills. I get overwhelmed with posting so I try to keep it to a couple of times a week. Also trying to stay in some smaller challenges so I can try to stay on top of commenting. Not enough time in the day!

      October 1, 2012 at 5:17 am

  26. One wouldn’t think it would be time for a fire with so much greenery remaining in the landscape. Fall is sneaking up on us, isn’t it? How could it be October already?

    September 30, 2012 at 11:17 pm

    • We didn’t NEED a fire.. :D I just love to hear it pop and crack. It felt good the day CH had his vest on though, it was chilly that day! I feel like time is screaming by!

      October 1, 2012 at 5:19 am
